New Orleans Audubon Zoo celebrates Black History Month!
The Audubon Zoo kicks off its annual Black History Month celebration on Saturday February 7th with an “African American Cultural Explosion” of live music, spoken-word poetry, liturgical dancing and tributes to New Orleans’ own Living Legends. Wonderful music by local favorites: Kermit Ruffins, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Philip Manuel, Nu-Beginnings, Colage III and the Thelonious Monk Ensemble.
