The 24th annual Creole Tomato Festival (June 13-14) highlights one of Louisiana’s most famous agricultural products, renowned throughout the world for its flavor and the variety of recipes that use it as the base ingredient. Food booths will be offering such Creole Tomato favorites as Fried Green Tomatoes, Creole Tomato Bloody Mary’s, Creole Tomato with Shrimp Salad, Stuffed Shrimp with Grilled Creole Tomato over Jasmine Rice, Creole Tomato Basil Crepes, Creole Tomato Gelato, Creole Tomato Cream Crawfish Pies, Blooming Onion on a bed of Creole Tomato and more!
