The Louisiana Peach Festival – June 25-27. There will be live music featuring Grammy Award Country Group of the Year nominee Shenandoah highlights the festival’s entertainment. Stephen Sondheim’s musical, COMPANY, opens at Tulane University’s Summer Lyric Theatre, July 9-12. The clashing sounds and pulsing rhythms of New York City underscore this landmark “concept” show, considered by many to have inaugurated the modern era of musical theatre. Performance times for COMPANY are 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday in Dixon Hall, Tulane University.
