Purple, Green and Gold to the Superbowl!

Join us to celebrate the Saints in the Superbowl, Mardi Gras Style – in the French Quarter!  The winning duo of the first weekend of Mardi Gras and Saints in the Superbowl, makes February 5–7, 2010 a great time to visit the Big Easy.  By the way, what do the Mardi Gras colors of purple, green and gold mean?  The colors of Carnival were chosen in 1872 by that year’s Rex. Twenty years later, for the 1892 parade, Rex declared that the colors had meaning: purple for justice, green for faith and gold for power.
